‘The Awakening’ is a 2-hour durational performance and installation piece in collaboration with visual artist and performer Brian Andrew Whiteley. The original score ranges from brooding ambience to pulsing, industrial techno. The 2-hour composition was intended to add a level of intensity and build-up as Whiteley’s performance becomes increasingly chaotic and spastic. The goal was to juxtapose a late-night dancefloor energy into a performance that is otherwise singularly personal.

According to Whiteley, "The Awakening is an on-going installation experience. The project is an exploration in gender fluidity and body positivity, with an original musical score by Prism House and live tattoo on the performer by Jonny Gomez. The installation featured dysmorphic performances by Brian Andrew Whiteley. During this iteration Whiteley was tattoo'd six times."
